Taira projects just 2.8 inches (7 cm) from the ceiling, a low profile that suits low ceilings and tight rooms where a hanging fixture isn't practical. Its frosted diffuser spreads warm 3000K light with a CRI of 95 or higher, so the colors of the stone, wood, and fabrics around it read true.

It comes in 3 sizes so you can scale it from a hallway to a main room light such as in kitchens, dining rooms, offices, bedrooms, and bathrooms alike.

Taira is damp-rated, suited to bathrooms and other humid indoor spaces, though not to direct water contact. Installation is hardwired, with an integrated LED built directly into the fixture. The stone body has real weight, about 6.1 lbs in the small size up to about 16.9 lbs in the large, so mount it to a ceiling box rated for the load. Professional installation is recommended.

Shizuku is damp rated but not waterproof, so you can still put it in areas like the bathroom, just not anywhere that has direct contact with water.

Taira Travertine Flush Mount Ceiling Light — Low-Profile, Damp-Rated
Integrated LED in Three Sizes

Taira takes its name from the Japanese word for "flat" or "level" — a
plain description of how low and wide it sits against the ceiling,
projecting just 2.8 inches (7 cm) into the room.

DESIGN & AESTHETIC:
A wide, shallow dome of hand-finished travertine rests against the
ceiling, trimmed with a slim band of solid wood where it meets the
surface, with a frosted diffuser set into its base. The stone's natural
pitting and veining stay visible around the whole rim, while the
diffuser spreads a soft, warm glow across the room below.

INSTALLATION:
Taira is a hardwired flush mount with an integrated LED built directly
into the fixture — no bulbs to source or replace. It runs on AC
120–240V, suitable for standard household wiring across most regions.
The mounting plate measures 9.8, 14.6, or 18.5 inches (25, 37, or 47 cm)
across, depending on size. The stone body has real weight, from about
6.1 lb (2.76 kg) in the small size to about 16.9 lb (7.65 kg) in the
large, so it should be mounted to a ceiling box rated for the load.
Professional installation is recommended.
