Craftmanship

Tama's travertine ring is hand-finished to highlight the stone's natural pitting and veining, no 2 pieces are identical. The wood sphere is hand-turned and sanded smooth, creating a tactile point of connection between the cord and the stone shade below.

The pairing is intentional: a soft, rounded wood form resting on a solid, grounded stone ring. This is the quiet tension at the center of Japandi design: natural materials, minimal form, maximum presence.

Built to be a lasting fixture in your home, Tama's travertine will develop subtle character over time, while the wood sphere deepens in tone with age.

Details

Tama pairs a hand-turned wood sphere with a hand-finished travertine ring, suspended in quiet balance above your table or counter. The built-in LED offers 3 adjustable color temperatures, so the glow shifts with the moment: warm for dinner, neutral for daily use, cool for focused task.

Designed as a self-contained cord pendant, it hangs easily with no complex mounting required. The adjustable cord lets you set the exact drop for kitchen islands, coffee corners, dining nooks, or bedside spaces.

Each travertine ring carries natural veining and texture unique to the stone, paired with a warm wood sphere that softens the connection between cord and shade. Simple materials, thoughtfully joined.

Light In Japandi

In Japan, lighting is more than illumination. It's a design philosophy, a deliberate choice to create warmth and presence in your space.

When you fill your room with Japandi lighting, the soft ambiance instantly makes you feel relaxed. It wipes away the chaos of your day so you can actually be present with yourself or someone else.

No distractions.

Just presence.

The Travertine Collection

Formed over thousands of years by mineral rich hot springs, travertine carries a record no factory could replicate - every pit, vein, and irregularity a trace of how it came to be. No two pieces emerge alike. Cool and substantial in the hand, yet warm in tone, travertine grounds a space with the quiet weight of something genuinely old.

About This Piece

Tama takes its name from the Japanese word for sphere, the rounded wood form that anchors this pendant's design. Suspended above a kitchen island or coffee corner, it brings warmth and quiet sculptural interest to everyday spaces.

The 3 color adjustable LED means Tama adapts to how you use the space throughout the day. Neutral for morning coffee, warm for evening wind down. Simple to install, effortless to live with.

Full Tama Description

TAMA Pendant Light - Premium Travertine & Wood Sphere Lighting

Bring sculptural warmth to your kitchen island, coffee corner, or dining nook
with TAMA, our travertine and wood pendant light. The name TAMA (sphere)
references the hand-turned wood ball that connects the cord to the hand-finished
travertine shade below.

DESIGN & AESTHETIC:
TAMA balances two natural materials in one compact form — a warm wood sphere
resting atop a donut-shaped travertine ring. The result is a pendant that feels
both grounded and light, perfect for spaces where you want a design statement
without visual bulk.

The built-in LED offers three adjustable color temperatures, letting you shift
from warm ambient glow to bright task lighting depending on the moment. Whether
it's illuminating a morning coffee ritual or setting the mood for dinner, TAMA
adapts with you.

INSTALLATION:
Designed as a self-contained cord pendant, TAMA is simple to hang with no complex
mounting hardware required — ideal for ceilings without recessed junction boxes
or elaborate wiring. The 180 cm adjustable cord allows precise height customization
for kitchen islands, breakfast nooks, bedside tables, or reading corners.

FEATURES:
- Hand-turned wood sphere connector
- Hand-finished travertine ring shade
- Built-in LED with 3-color adjustable temperature
- 70.9" adjustable cord
- Self-contained cord pendant installation
- Hardwired, AC 90-260V universal voltage
- Compact 5.9" x 4.3" footprint
- Covers 5-10 square meter lighting area

PERFECT FOR:
Kitchen island lighting, coffee corner accent light, breakfast nook pendant,
bedside ambient lighting, dining table accent, reading nook illumination,
compact space lighting, Japandi kitchen design, minimalist ceiling lighting,
contemporary home interiors.

WHY CHOOSE TAMA:
Unlike standard pendant lights, TAMA pairs two distinct natural materials in one
cohesive silhouette. The wood sphere softens the transition between cord and
stone, creating visual interest even when the light is off. Adjustable LED color
temperature means one fixture serves multiple moods and functions throughout
the day.

TAMA pairs beautifully with our complete Japandi lighting collection — HOTARU
night lights, AKANE table lamps, KUMO floor lamps, MUSHI sculptural pendants,
TSUBO travertine pendants, TAKE bamboo wall sconces, YADO ceiling lights, and
KASANE wall sconces — for a cohesive, layered lighting environment throughout
your home.

CARE & MAINTENANCE:
Travertine is a natural stone and will develop subtle character over time. Dust
gently with soft cloth. Avoid direct water exposure. Wood sphere may deepen in
tone naturally with age. Professional installation recommended.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY:
TAMA embodies the Japandi principle of intentional material pairing — natural
wood and natural stone, joined simply, allowed to speak for themselves. Minimal
form, maximum warmth.
