Amikago Rattan Flush Mount Ceiling Light — Hand-Woven Shadow Play

Amikago takes its name from the Japanese words for "woven" and "basket" 
— a plain description of the fixture itself: a hand-woven rattan dome, 
lit from within, casting light through its own open weave.

DESIGN & AESTHETIC:
A dome of hand-woven rattan sits below a solid wood canopy, its open 
weave letting light escape in a dappled, textured pattern rather than a 
flat wash. Lit at night, Amikago casts a soft starburst of light and 
shadow across the ceiling around it — an effect no solid-shade fixture 
can produce.

INSTALLATION:
Amikago is hardwired and runs on AC 120–240V, suitable for standard 
household wiring across most regions. It takes a standard E26 bulb (max 
60W) and is dimmable when paired with a dimmable LED bulb and a 
compatible LED dimmer switch (dimmer sold separately).

AVAILABLE IN TWO SIZES:
Amikago comes in two diameters — a 9.1-inch (23 cm) size for smaller 
rooms and hallways, and an 11.8-inch (30 cm) size for a bolder presence 
in a bedroom or living space.
